Frances LaRocca and Sentir Aromatherapy are aligned with the Barton Hill Hotel and Spa, located in Lewiston, NY. The Barton Hill Spa is inside the historic Trafford mansion overlooking the Niagara Gorge. It is here in the spa, at the aroma bar, where Frann works on the most sophisticated part of her practice, custom blending.
Custom blending is creating a fragrance that is all about you. It can be used to fulfill any need,rejuvenation, healing, or accessorizing. Frann will work one on one (or with couples) on a fragrance profile to determine which oils are a best match for your needs, personality, and inclinations. All custom blending services are confidential, in keeping with client privilege.
Custom blending occurs in Frann's Aroma Bar, located upstairs in the mansion with a view of the Niagara River. You will sit in coffee colored leather counter chairs and enjoy a beverage as Frann asks you questions in order to more perfectly craft a blend for you. It is a relaxing and fragrant way to spend an hour or two.

It starts out with a simple questionnaire, including queries about past and current perfume wearing habits, special occasions, and personality. The goal is to find trends in order to more ably design a scent for you, whether for an upcoming event or everyday wear. A Fragrance profile also includes sampling essential and perfume oils that appeal to you in order to choose the ones most suited for your fragrance. A copy of your fragrance profile will also be kept for re-ordering or adjustment purposes, as needed.
Seeking alternative therapeutic remedies? Wanting a new skin care regime? A consultation is the perfect service for you. Consultations are a far more in depth version of a fragrance profile and more designed for the therapeutic arena. It starts with a questionnaire about previous treatments, current ailments, and other health related questions. Frann will work with you to determine what kind of aid you are seeking and will use your information, in addition to her experience and knowledge, to choose oils with the most effective healing powers. Blends will also be tailored to be as aromatically pleasing as possible. A copy of the consultation will be kept for re-ordering or adjustment purposes, as needed.
